dc.descriptionThe Immaculate Heart of Mary should be the flag of the current Marian movement. Only by explaining what its object is, the devotion to the Heart of Mary can be de-fended from past decadent forms as we can present all its efficacy for today’s piety. This is what is intended taken by the hand of Joaquín María Alonso. In saying this, the Heart of Mary is the formal aspect of Mary’s person and the formal aspect of Marian theology as well, as the vocation that according to its nature, all forms of Marian piety tend to, if they want to be authentic: informing, interiorizing and purifying this, our devotion to the Heart of Mary (Cordimarian Devotion). It is right to claim a place of honor for this devotion, since by the nature of its object, this devotion is a true cult “in spirit and truth” (Jn 4, 23). As, the Heart of Mary is not a body organ, but a principle: It is Mary seen in her interiority and intimacy, it is love (to God and to humanity) as a formal element, and from this formal and principal nature, comes all the excellency of the Heart; since it appears as the source of all the interior organism of the Blessed Virgin. The Heart of Mary is the pristine essence or condensation of Mary’s person.en-US
dc.descriptionEl Corazón de María ha de ser la bandera del actual movimiento mariano. Sólo eluci-dando cuál es su objeto se puede defender la devoción al Corazón de María de pasadas formas decadentes y se puede presentar toda su virtualidad para el hoy de la piedad. Es lo que aquí se intenta, de la mano de Joaquín María Alonso. En efecto, el Corazón de María es forma de la persona de María y forma de la teología mariana, y vocación a que por naturaleza tiende toda forma de piedad mariana que quiera ser auténtica, a la cual informa, interioriza y purifica esta nuestra devoción cordimariana. Es legítimo reclamar, por tanto, un puesto de honor para esta devoción; pero ello obedece a que, por la naturaleza misma de su objeto, es un verdadero culto “en espíritu y en verdad” (Jn 4,23). Y es que el Corazón de María no es un órgano corporal, sino un principio: es María vista en su más íntima intimidad, que resulta ser el amor (a Dios y a los hom-bres) como elemento formalizante, y de esa naturaleza formalizante y fontal surge toda la excelencia del Corazón, ya que nos aparece como fuente de todo el organismo interior de la Virgen. El Corazón de María es la quintaesencia o condensación de la persona de María.es-ES
