| dc.description | This thesis presents a theoretical analysis of Law 20.911 on the Plan for Citizenship Education (2016) as a means of providing tools to new generations of adolescents interested in participating in government within their political community. It addresses the question concerning the philosophical and political foundations that underpin it and the type of citizenship that it promotes. The context in which the law is situated allows for a double meaning: as an eagerness to perfect the economic model with the development of liberal virtues and / or as the learning of new republican concepts that strengthen the emancipatory movement lived in Chile. Citizenship is presented from its historical evolution, from the classical models of political philosophy: liberalism, republican and communitarian. There is a transversal axis that crosses it which is the political and social participation of adolescents with its possibilities (and tensions) that generate the idea of child citizenship. | en-US |
| dc.description | El artículo presenta un análisis teórico de la Ley 20.911 sobre el Plan de Formación Ciudadana (2016), como un medio para aportar herramientas a nuevas generaciones de adolescentes interesados en participar en el gobierno de su comunidad política. Responde a la pregunta sobre las bases filosóficas y políticas que lo sustentan y el tipo de ciudadanía que promueve. El contexto en que se sitúa la ley permite una doble lectura: como un afán por perfeccionar el modelo económico con el desarrollo de virtudes liberales y/o como el aprendizaje de nuevas claves republicanas que fortalezcan el movimiento emancipatorio vivido en Chile. Se presenta la formación ciudadana desde su evolución histórica y desde los modelos clásicos de la filosofía política: liberal, republicano y comunitarista. Un eje transversal que atraviesa el trabajo es la participación política y social de los adolescentes y las posibilidades (y tensiones) que genera la idea de ciudadanía infantil. | es-ES |
