dc.description	The aim of this article is to analyse the cross-border mobility of women living on the Andean border from the Chilean side, specifically from the first three regions: Arica and Parinacota, the Tarapacá region and the Antofagasta region. We are interested in understanding how the mobility of women living in the border space has been functional to the development of regional economies insofar as these economies have benefited from the gender, ethnic and social asymmetries existing in these regions. To this end, we systematise the literature and the work carried out by various researchers on cross-border migration in the north of the country.	en-US
dc.description	El objetivo del presente artículo es analizar la movilidad transfronteriza de mujeres que viven en la frontera andina desde el lado chileno, específicamente desde las tres primeras regiones: Arica y Parinacota, la región de Tarapacá y la de Antofagasta. Nos interesa comprender de qué modo la movilidad de las mujeres que habitan el espacio fronterizo ha resultado funcional al desarrollo de las economías regionales en la medida en que estas economías se han beneficiado de las asimetrías de género, étnicas y condición social existentes en estas regiones. Para ello realizamos una sistematización de la literatura y el trabajo realizado por diversas investigadoras e investigadores en torno a la migración transfronteriza en el norte del país.	es-ES
