dc.descriptionThe political and military characteristics of the Ejercito de Liberación Nacional (ELN) have made it difficult to reach a negotiated solution to the conflict. This situation has arisen due to the inability of the Guerrilla Group and the National Government to communicate effectively. As the background of these actors is the Catholic Church, whose position constantly shifts. The novelty of this study lies in identifying emerging political-military interactions between the ELN and the Colombian government through the application of Systems Theory to complex systems. To achieve this, the relationships developed between 1965 and 1973 have been analyzed to detect the interactions that occurred during the early stages of the guerrilla group. This study enhances understanding of the armed conflict and relations with the ELN, offering a complementary perspective from Systems Theory that could inform strategies for future dialogues with the ELN.en-US
dc.descriptionLas características políticas y militares del Ejército de Liberación Nacional (ELN) han dificultado alcanzar una solución negociada del conflicto. Esta situación se ha presentado a causa de una incapacidad del Grupo Guerrillero y del Gobierno Nacional de comunicarse efectivamente. Como trasfondo a estos actores se encuentra la Iglesia católica cuya posición se modifica constantemente. La novedad de este estudio consiste en identificar interacciones político-militares emergentes entre el ELN y el Gobierno colombiano por medio de la Teoría de Sistemas aplicada a sistemas complejos. Para esto, se han analizado las relaciones desarrolladas entre 1965 y 1973 para detectar las interacciones que se dieron en los inicios del grupo guerrillero. Con este estudio se aumenta el conocimiento sobre el conflicto armado y las relaciones con el ELN, presentando una mirada complementaria desde la Teoría de Sistemas que sirva para estrategias en los futuros diálogos con el ELN.es-ES
