dc.descriptionThe objective of this article is to identify, from a theoretical and bibliographic, review the evolution of conceptual approaches to governance with territorial perspective, through the exploration of different authors and official institutions who have addressed the issue from different shades. This exploration is organized in five sections, the first is synthesized the emergence of governance, highlighting the Anglo-Saxon notion and the prospect of international agencies; in the second are over-emphasised sheds and theoretical approaches of governance related to the new public management, addressing the multilevel conception, democratic, territorial and urban integrated. A third section discusses governance as an instrument of territorial convergence, its characteristics and principles, to subsequently in a fourth subparagraph expose the relationship between governance, governance and the Government, highlighting the social participation as key actors immersed in the urban system Assembly. Finally, in the fifth section it presents the link between the urban management and public action, synthesizing trends and approaches to urban development. Based on the conclusions established the conceptual similarities between the territorial governance and metropolitan governance integrated, as a contribution to facilitate the debate in future research works.en-US
dc.descriptionEl objetivo del presente artículo radica en identificar, a partir de una revisión teórica y bibliográfica, la evolución de los enfoques conceptuales de la gobernanza con perspectiva territorial, a través de la exploración de diversos autores e instituciones oficiales que han abordado el tema desde diferentes matices. Dicha exploración se organiza en cinco secciones, en la primera se sintetiza el surgimiento de la gobernanza, destacando la noción anglosajona y la perspectiva de organismos internacionales; en la segunda se enfatizan las vertientes y enfoques teóricos de la gobernanza vinculados a la nueva gestión pública, abordando la concepción multinivel, democrática, territorial y urbana integrada. En una tercera sección se analiza la gobernanza como instrumento de convergencia territorial, sus características y principios, para posteriormente en un cuarto inciso exponer la relación entre la gobernabilidad, la gobernanza y el gobierno, resaltando la participación social como elemento clave del conjunto de actores inmersos en el sistema urbano. Finalmente, en la quinta sección se plantea el vínculo existente entre la gestión urbana y la acción pública, sintetizando las corrientes y enfoques del desarrollo urbano. A partir de las conclusiones se establecen las analogías conceptuales entre la gobernanza territorial y la gobernanza metropolitana integrada, como aportación para propiciar el debate en futuros trabajos de investigación.es-ES
