| dc.description | The article presents a discussion on the issue of political participation from the point of view of the subjective experience that the inhabitants of shantytowns in the area of Cerro Navia build, Chile. The developed hypothesis is related to the construction of a political record of the popular subjectivity, not considered in the discussion on the subject, about the dimensions of the recognition and poverty. This record, expressed individually in young population, can help the understanding of the distance between the action orientations and its relationship with institutional politics. | en-US |
