| dc.description | This article is a description of the Project for the Development of the Center ofPsychological Attention (CAP) at the University of Santiago de Chile’s School ofPsychology (EPUSACH). The time span is from 2001 to 2005 and the research looksinto the bio-psycho-social components of health as well as public health indicators. The purpose of the project was, firstly, to link the Center’s mental health work, occurring in a higher education institution, to observe the national reality with an emphasis on exploring the significant role that the Center could play to bring about improvements in the mental health of their immediate surroundings. Secondly, the project briefly included the design of a service provision model to be included in the curriculum followed by EPUSACH’s clinical psychology students.The article also summarises some of the key data arising from CAP’s work duringthe period under analysis. | en-US |
| dc.description | Este artículo describe el Proyecto de Desarrollo del Centro de Atención Psicológica(CAP) de la Escuela de Psicología de la Universidad de Santiago de Chile(EPUSACH), entre los años 2001-2005, en el que se considera tanto la mirada Bio- Psico-Social en Salud como indicadores de Salud Pública. El propósito de este Proyecto es primero, realizar un trabajo en el marco de la Salud Mental vinculado a la realidad nacional, desde un Organismo de Educación Superior, que pusiera al Centro en relevancia respecto al importante aporte que este puede realizar como institución universitaria, en beneficio de la Salud Mental del sector en que se encuentra ubicado. Segundo, diseñar un modelo de atención que aportara al currículo formativo del psicólogo clínico de la EPUSACH. Además, el artículo resume algunos de los datos centrales de la atención del CAP, en el período correspondiente. | es-ES |
