El desarrollo de esta disciplina ha tenido unimpacto importante en la investigación de los factores de riesgo de trastornos mentales, obligando a generar enfoques más procesuales que presten atención no sólo a la identificación de estos factores sino a comprender sus modos de actuar. Este artículo analiza algunos de los desafíos que enfrenta hoy la investigación en psicopatología evolutiva y presenta dos modelos que tratan de lograr una comprensión más procesual de los determinantes psicosociales de la psicopatología infanto-juvenil. | es-ES |
| dc.description | VAt present, developmental psychopathology is considered to be the dominant paradigm in psychopathological research. The discipline is development has had quite an impact on the research of mental disorder risk factors, giving way to the generation of more process like approaches focusing attention not only on the identification of these factors but also on the comprehension of their ways of behaving. This paper analyzes some of the challenges developmental psychopathology has to cope with at present and introduces two models in the search of achieving a more process like understanding of the psychosocial determinants in children and pre-teenagers psychopathology. | en-US |
