| dc.description | This article presents the results of a study in which the theoretical construct of “learner identity” was used as an analytical tool for examining interactions between professors and students during learning activities. A qualitative design was applied to university students majoring in mathematics pedagogy. This study concludes that the “learner identity” construct facilitates the analysis of students’ own experiences and attributes as learners, and can be applied as a profound, holistic tool for understanding experiences with academic processes and meaningful people that contribute to students’ reflection on their continuation or withdrawal from university programs. | en-US |
| dc.description | Este artículo presenta los resultados de un estudio en que se utilizó el constructo teórico denominado “identidad de aprendiz” como herramienta analítica para el estudio de las interacciones entre profesores y estudiantes mientras estos realizan una actividad de aprendizaje. Se empleó un diseño cualitativo con estudiantes universitarios de Pedagogía en Matemáticas. Se concluye que el constructo “identidad de aprendiz” facilita el análisis de las propias vivencias y percepciones de cualidades como aprendiz, pudiendo emplearse como herramienta de comprensión, con una visión holística y profunda, de experiencias con personas signifi cativas y procesos académicos que llevan al estudiante universitario a refl exionar acerca de su permanencia o abandono de los estudios universitarios. | es-ES |
