El presente trabajo propone estudiar la problemática de los diversos tipos de migraciones y desplazamientos de personas que se desarrollaron en el alto imperio romano (31 a.C. – 235 d.C.) Cuáles fueron los móviles que impulsaron estos flujos migratorios e intentar presentar una tipología de doce formas del fenómeno migratorio al interior del espacio romano. Argumento, por cierto, de extrema actualidad, en que la Historia de la antigua Roma puede ofrecernos algunas luces y casos de estudio comparativo para una mayor y mejor comprensión del presente. Palabras clave: Migraciones, movilidad, viajes, extranjeros, ciudadanos, familia, ciudadesThe present work aims at studying the predicament of the diverse types of migrations and movements of people who developed in the high roman empire (31 b.C – 235 a.C), the motives that drove these migratory flows and trying to present a typology of twelve forms of the migratory phenomenon within the roman empire territory.
