| dc.description | The main goal of this article is to explain the relations hip between the concepts of Solidarity / Human Rights and the effective practices developed by the Social Work that the Vicariate of Solidarity (VS) implemented during Pinochet’s dictatorship in Chile, 1973 and 1983. We can highlight two main conclusions. First, both Solidarity and Human Rights were understood by the agents associated with the VS as agglutinative and legitimating concepts of social action. Secondly, the use and projection of both concepts - and all their practical implications - from an institution of a religious nature, contributed to the process analyzed here an additional complexity, in terms of coexisting versions endowed with different degrees of secularization and politicization in each one of concepts.Keywords: Solidarity, Human Rights, Vicariate of Solidarity, Dictatorship, Social Work | en-US |
| dc.description | El siguiente artículo tiene como objetivo central exponer las relaciones entre los conceptos de Solidaridad/ Derechos Humanos y las prácticas efectivas desarrolladas por el trabajo social implementado por la Vicaría de la Solidaridad durante la Dictadura en Chile, 1973 y 1983. Se pueden destacar dos líneas de conclusión: primero, tanto la Solidaridad como los Derechos Humanos fueron comprendidos por los agentes asociados a la Vicaría de la Solidaridad como conceptos aglutinantes y legitimantes de la acción social. Segundo, la utilización y proyección de ambos conceptos –y todas sus implicaciones prácticas- a partir de una institución de carácter religioso le aportó al proceso aquí analizado una complejidad adicional, en términos de convivir versiones dotadas de distintos grados de secularización y politización en cada uno de los conceptos.Palabras clave: Solidaridad, Derechos Humanos, Vicaría de la Solidaridad, Dictadura, Trabajo Social. | es-ES |
