Este trabajo abordará un concepto que parece nuevo pero que ya lleva una década de desarrollo, me refiero a las criptomonedas. Concepto que tiene detractores que sostienen que el uso de estas solo sirve para financiar delitos por medio de la llamada “Deep Web”, es decir, la internet profunda o internet negra, una especie de mercado negro electrónico y otros que la defienden por ser el futuro de la economía mundial. Antes de conocer la naturaleza jurídica de las criptomonedas es necesario entender qué son y cómo funcionan, se analizara la historia de las criptomonedas, se explicará la tecnología que les da sustento, el blockchain y el Peer-to Peer. Conociendo como se crean las criptomonedas y su funcionamiento podemos adentrarnos en la naturaleza de estas y saber que son para el derechoThis work will aproach a concept that seem to be new but exist  almost for a decade, this are the cryptocurrencies. And there are others who defends this tecnology and claim is the future of world economy. Before to talk about the juridic nature of cryptocurrencies is important to understand what they are and how they work. It will be analized the history of cryptocurrencies, the tecnology of blockchain and Peer-to-Peer, tecnologys that allowed the existance of cryptocurrencies.
