This article analyzes whether or not police forces, within an outgoing criminal investigation, are able to access" Cell Site Location Information" (CSLI).The situation presents many questions, and the objective of this small study is to show that police forces can only access to such Registries if they have prior judicial authorization, based on reasonable grounds of suspicion. Doing so, the user's privacy and intimacy right will not be affected. We understand that such information is not the citizen’s exclusive property. Therefore, it could become known by third parties, prevailing the common good over the individual, when the judicial instance considers so. En el presente trabajo se analiza la posibilidad de acceso de las fuerzas policiales dentro de la etapa de investigación autónoma o prejudicial, a la información de ubicación de teléfonos móviles, procedimiento conocido como “Cell-Site Location Information” (CSLI).La situación presenta numerosos interrogantes, y el objetivo de este pequeño estudio es demostrar que las fuerzas policiales solo pueden acceder a los Registros y, al hacerlo, no se encontraría afectado el derecho de intimidad y privacidad del usuario, siempre y cuando se cuente con autorización judicial previa basado en motivo de sospecha suficiente. Entendemos que dicha información no es propiedad exclusiva del ciudadano, sino que podría llegar a ser conocida por terceros, prevaleciendo el bien común por sobre el particular, cuando así lo evalué o pondere la instancia judicial
