| dc.description | The internationalization of higher education has become a very fruitful field of study, especially in Europe and some Asian countries. At the Latin American level, the research that has been carried out in Chile is noteworthy because it has been promoted mainly by the National Accreditation Commission. In this article we present a qualitative research, carried out according to the methodological design of a comparative case study, that allows us to analyze the internationalization proposals of four Chilean higher education institutions and the impact that these have had on the curricula in the areas of teaching, research and university extension. This research corresponds to our thesis carried out in the Master’s Degree in University Teaching at the Universidad de Las Américas. | en-US |
| dc.description | La internacionalización de la educación superior se ha convertido en un campo de estudio muy fecundo, sobre todo en Europa y en algunos países de Asia. A nivel latinoamericano, destacan las investigaciones que se han hecho en Chile porque han sido impulsadas principalmente por la Comisión Nacional de Acreditación. En este artículo presentamos una investigación cualitativa, realizada de acuerdo al diseño metodológico de estudio de caso comparativo, que permite analizar las propuestas de internacionalización de cuatro casas de estudios superiores chilenas y el impacto que estas han tenido en los programas de estudios y currículos en las áreas de docencia, investigación y extensión universitaria.
