Educational usage of PowerPoint in the Spanish Language subject

| dc.description | When referring to classroom presentations PowerPoint is one the most used slide show multimedia software. Due to this, in this research we studied the educational use that Spanish language teachers give to this tool and, of course, the correct or incorrect use of it during the different stages of the class. In order to perform a more objective study we researched different historical documents that allowed understanding how the arrival of this technology in Chile caused different changes in the educational area. Finally, the data collection instruments (surveys, observation and interviews) made possible to identify the correct usage and the mistakes of the teachers from this subject and how the PowerPoint tool has gained importance. | en-US |
| dc.description | PowerPoint es uno de los presentadores multimedia más utilizados para realizar presentaciones en el aula. Debido a ello, en esta investigación se observó el uso didáctico que le otorga el profesor de Lenguaje y Comunicación a este recurso y, por supuesto, el uso correcto e incorrecto de esta herramienta durante los distintos momentos de la clase. Para realizar un estudio más objetivo se pesquisaron diversos documentos de tipo histórico que permitieron comprender cómo la llegada de la tecnología a Chile provocó diversos cambios en el ámbito educativo. Finalmente, los instrumentos de recolección de datos utilizados (encuestas, observación y entrevista) nos permitieron identificar los aciertos y errores cometidos por los docentes de la disciplina y cómo el recurso PowerPoint ha ido adquiriendo protagonismo por sí mismo. | es-ES |
