| dc.description | Through this biobibliographical sketch contextualized in the pyschosocial political concrete reality of the salvadoran people, and from there radiated to our America, we intend to recover and resignifiy Martín-Baró's socialscientific and christian humanist contribution (Social Psychology from Central America I and II, 1983-1989). The ideological dismantling, the denunciation of institutionalized lying and abuse of power, the description of the psychosocial effects of violence and war, the preoccupation for children and young people, for social and gender discrimination, and for the role of the Latin American Psychologist, were some of the recurrent issues dealt with in researches, articles, papers and books by the jesuit priest, Ignacio Martín-Baró, the UCA's Vicerrector, of San Salvador. | en-US |
| dc.description | A través de esta semblanza biobibliográfica, contextuada en la concreta realidad psicosocial y política del pueblo salvadoreño, e irradiada desde allí a Nuestra América (Psicología Social desde Centroamérica I y II, 1983-1989), pretendemos rescatar y resignificar su aporte científico social y humanista-cristiano. El desmontaje ideológico, la denuncia frente a la mentira institucionalizada y al abuso del poder, la descripción de los efectos psicosociales de la violencia y la guerra; la preocupación por la niñez y juventud, por las discriminaciones sociales y de género, y por el rol del psicólogo latinoamericano, constituyeron algunos de los tópicos recurrentes tratados en investigaciones, artículos, ponencias y libros por el sacerdote jesuita, Ignacio Martín-Baró, el Vicerrector de la UCA, de San Salvador. | es-ES |
