| dc.description | The present research is intended as a contribution to the knowledge and understanding of drug dependence through a descriptive analysis of the social representations that psychologist have that are inserted in programs of prevention, treatment and rehabilitation of drug consumption. It involves, as well, the representations that are developed of the addicted subjects undergoing drug treatment. The problem lies in the fact that drug addiction not only has become a question of mental health, but of citizen security, which gives the drug addict a double connotation: that of patient and delinquent. This cultural arbitrary concept of the addict lies within tjhe terapeutic context. For this reason it is possible that the practice of prevention, treatment and rehabilitation exerted by psychologists, respond to the social connotation of the addicted subject. | en-US |
| dc.description | La presente investigación pretende aportar al conocimiento y entendimiento de las drogodependencias a través de un análisis descriptivo de las representaciones sociales que psicólogos insertos en programas de prevención, tratamiento y rehabilitación portan sobre el consumo de drogas, implicando también las representaciones que configuran del sujeto adicto y de los tratamientos de drogas. El problema es que la drogadicción se ha tornado una cuestión no sólo de salud mental, sino también un asunto de seguridad ciudadana, dándole al drogadicto una connotación doble: la de enfermo y la de delincuente. Esta arbitrario cultural del adicto no puede ser ajeno al contexto terapéutico, por lo que es posible que las prácticas de prevención, tratamiento y rehabilitación ejecutadas por psicólogos, respondan a este modo social de representarse al sujeto adicto. | es-ES |
