dc.description	The inaugural homily of the Council vatican II (Gaudet Mater Ecclesia - GME) was a very prepared speech. John XXIII put into it wholeheartedly. The moment was historic. In this paper, we study the speech to highlight the main ideas. These same ideas are important for understanding the way the Council: work, purpose, diffculties. The Pope wanted a pastoral Council, open to all, without condemnation. In the second part, through texts of the Popes and the Council is looking to see how the Pope’s ideas were received. They focus on in the universal and the pastoral of the Council. Thus, it is proved that the Council was really a new Pentecost that allowed an aggiornamento of the Church.	en-US
dc.description	El discurso inaugural del Concilio vaticano II (Gaudet Mater Ecclesia - GME) fue un discurso muy preparado. Juan XXIII puso en él todo su corazón. El momento era histórico. En este trabajo, se estudia este discurso para resaltar las ideas principales. Estas mismas ideas serán importantes para entender el camino del Concilio: el trabajo, la fnalidad, las difcultades. El Papa quería un Concilio pastoral, abierto a todos, sin condenaciones. En la segunda parte, a través de textos de los Papas y del Concilio, se busca ver cómo fueron recibidas las ideas del Papa. Se insiste sobre todo, en lo universal y en lo pastoral del Concilio. Así, se prueba que el Concilio fue realmente un nuevo Pentecostés que permitió un aggiornamiento de la Iglesia.	es-ES
