dc.descriptionEl programa “Juntos más Seguros” se diseñó e implementó en el segundo gobierno de Michelle Bachelet (2014–2018) y buscaba desarrollar una estrategia de seguridad en barrios prioritarios, basada en una intervención social participativa, con el objetivo de fortalecer la cohesión social y la convivencia comunitaria. El presente estudio se efectuó mediante un análisis de caso de diseño cualitativo, enfocado en los actores intervinientes, a fin de observar la institucionalización de prácticas que se han avanzado en el contexto comunitario, su relación con la participación social y el desarrollo o fortalecimiento del capital social en la población Ángela Davis + U.V. N°5 de la comuna de Recoleta. Las conclusiones principales señalan que la implementación del programa permitió entregar herramientas participativas y recursos a los/as dirigentes participantes de la Mesa Barrial, activando el capital social del barrio, fomentando la participación colaborativa y abriendo canales de comunicación entre lo local y lo institucional.es-ES
dc.descriptionThe program called “Juntos Más Seguros” (Together more secure), designed and implemented in the second government of Michelle Bachelet (2014–2018), sought to develop a security strategy in priority neighborhoods, based on participatory social intervention, with the aim of strengthening social cohesion and community coexistence. The methodology was developed through a qualitative design case analysis, focused on the intervening actors, in order to analyze the institutionalization of practices that have been developed in the community context, and its relationship with social participation and the development or strengthening of social capital, in the “Angela Davis” neighborhood + UV No. 5 of the Recoleta County. The main conclusions indicate that implementation of the program allowed to deliver participatory tools and resources to the participating leaders of the Neighborhood Committee, activating the social capital of the neighborhood, encouraging collaborative participation and opening channels of communication between the local and the institutional.en-US
