| dc.description | Los territorios y regiones se construyen permanentemente en un proceso histórico que incluye lo representacional. Es importante el análisis de películas filmadas en Patagonia porque aporta al conocimiento de dicha región y su constante re-configuración identitaria. El presente trabajo analiza las representaciones que, sobre la región patagónica, construye Historias mínimas (Carlos Sorín, 2002). Este film reivindica las pequeñas historias cotidianas dando cuenta de las imágenes y sujetos negados por el cine-espectáculo. Se concluye que, si bien no puede pensárselo como un discurso contrahegemónico, sí es crítico en tanto Patagonia aparece como un espacio conflictivo en el que se viven y resisten los embates del neoliberalismo. | es-ES |
| dc.description | Territories and regions are constantly constructed in a historical process that includes the representational. The analysis of films shot in Patagonia is of great importance since it deepens our knowledge of the region and of the way its identity is constantly re-shaping. The present paper analyses the representations about the Patagonia constructed by Historias Mínimas (Carlos Sorín, 2002). This film reclaims the little everyday stories showing images and subjects rejected by the entertainment industry. We conclude that, although the film discourse cannot be thought of as counter-hegemonic, it does presents critical features in that the Patagonia appears as a place in conflict where the ravages of neoliberalism are gone through and resisted. | en-US |
