| dc.description | This work attempts to show that the continuity of the current Argentine foreign policy project is a variable dependent on the implementation of democracy. Likewise, an attempt is made to explain the deep link between this project and the specific requirements of a process, still fragile, of institutional strengthening. In the Brazilian case, we argue that its current foreign policy project presupposes the existence of democratic norms both at the domestic level and on the international scene. The articulation between Brazilian foreign policy and the democratic system is analyzed, at the domestic and international level during the last thirteen years. This is intended to verify the importance for this foreign policy in this period of the internal and external conditions linked to a "democratizing" project. | en-US |
| dc.description | En este trabajo se intenta mostrar que la continuidad del actual proyecto de política exterior argentino es una variable dependiente de la implantación de la democracia. Asimismo, se procura explicar la profunda vinculación existente entre este proyecto y los requerimientos específicos de un proceso, aún frágil, de afianzamiento institucional. En el caso brasileño, sostenemos que su actual proyecto de política externa presupone la existencia de normas democráticas tanto a nivel doméstico como en el escenario internacional. Se analiza la articulación entre la política exterior brasileña y el sistema democrático, en el plano doméstico e internacional durante los últimos trece años. Con esto se pretende verificar la importancia para esta política exterior en este período de los condicionamientos internos y externos vinculados a un proyecto "democratizante". | es-ES |
