| dc.description | El tema de las percepciones resulta a veces ignorado por los analistas internacionales cuando, en realidad, constituye un elemento fundamental para el estudio de las relaciones internacionales. Importa tanto el conocimiento de la realidad como el conocimiento de las percepciones de la realidad internacional que poseen quienes deciden la política exterior. Ahora bien, ¿cómo percibe Europa al Brasil en los inicios de la década del 80? Aquí también se tiene la sensación de estar frente a un problema de percepción. Sostenemos que la percepción europea, y en general del mundo industrializado, está basada sobre realidades y circunstancias que han sufrido profundas alteraciones. Cabe entonces actualizar dicha percepción. En este trabajo se analiza la metamorfosis de la política exterior brasileña y la necesidad europea de ajustar sus percepciones relacionadas con América Latina. | es-ES |
| dc.description | The subject of perceptions is sometimes ignored by international analysts when, in fact, it constitutes a fundamental element for the study of international relations. Both knowledge of reality and knowledge of the perceptions of international reality held by those who decide foreign policy are important. Now, how does Europe perceives Brazil in the early 1980s? We maintain that the European perception, and in general the industrialized world, is based on realities and circumstances that have suffered profound alterations.
