| dc.description | Considerando las tendencias que expresa el panorama de la seguridad internacional, así como las que expresa la integración regional en América del Sur, el presente trabajo pretende analizar el desarrollo del Crimen Organizado Transnacional (COT) en esta región y las respuestas que han elaborado los países, en el marco de los procesos de integración en marcha. Con este fin, el artículo pone un especial énfasis en las iniciativas que se han llevado a cabo en la Unión de Naciones Suramericanas (UNASUR), donde últimamente destaca la propuesta ecuatoriana de establecer una Corte Penal Sudamericana. | es-ES |

To this end, the article places special emphasis on initiatives proposed within the Union of South American Nations (UNASUR), among which the recent Ecuadorian proposal to establish a South American Criminal Court stands out. | en-US |
