| dc.description | European Political Cooperation (EPC) can be analyzed from various perspectives: its specific contents, its results and the impact it has had on contemporary international relations can be evaluated. In this sense, it is interesting to know if it has managed to configure its own and common option for its members in the topics it has developed and if that option has had weight and influence on the evolution of those topics. On the other hand, it is also possible to analyze the nature of the decision-making process of the EPC, the specificity of its structures and the relationships it has established both with the European Community and with the national policies of the member countries. For the purposes of this work, which aims to analyze the EPC as an instance of coalition of the foreign policy of a group of like-minded countries, this second dimension receives more attention. | en-US |
| dc.description | La Cooperación Política Europea (CPE) puede ser analizada desde varias perspectivas. Así, se puede evaluar sus contenidos específicos, sus resultados y el impacto que ha tenido en las relaciones internacionales contemporáneas. En ese sentido, interesa saber si ha logrado configurar una opción propia y común de sus miembros en los temas que ha elaborado y si esa opción ha tenido peso e influencia en la evolución de esos temas. Por otra parte, también se puede analizar la naturaleza del proceso de toma de decisiones de la CPE, la especificidad de sus estructuras y las relaciones que ha establecido tanto con la Comunidad Europea como con las políticas nacionales de los países miembros. Para los fines de este trabajo, que pretende analizar la CPE en su aspecto de instancia de concertación de la política exterior de un grupo de países afines, esta segunda dimensión recibe mayor atención. | es-ES |
