| dc.description | The negotiations that give rise to the commercialization of basic products at the international level reveal the complexity of such process and a marked trend towards a product-by-product regulation that pits countries against each other. It is therefore important to specify the great variations that occur at the international level with respect to the regulation of basic products, their specific marketing modalities and the incidence of such regimes in the national development programs, and the alignment policies of the countries of the Third World. Reducing the spectrum of our analysis to the merely institutional field would imply being limited to the study of conventional instruments that regulate certain basic products. Hence, the spectrum is broadened, locating the problem within an economic, political and legal context, placing ourselves, consequently, in the real context in which the phenomena occur. | en-US |
| dc.description | -Las negociaciones a que da lugar el comercio de productos básicos a nivel internacional revelan la complejidad de la comercialización y una marcada tendencia a una regulación producto por producto que enfrenta a los países entre sí. Es importante por ello precisar las grandes variantes que se dan en el plano internacional respecto a la regulación de los productos básicos, sus modalidades concretas de comercialización y la incidencia de tales regímenes en los programas nacionales de desarrollo y las políticas de alineación de los países del Tercer Mundo. Reducir el espectro de nuestro análisis al campo meramente institucional implicaría vernos limitados al estudio de los instrumentos convencionales que regulan determinados productos básicos. De ahí que se amplía el espectro, ubicando el problema dentro de un contexto económico, político y jurídico, situándonos, de consiguiente, en el contexto real en el cual ocurren los fenómenos. | es-ES |
