| dc.description | When the expectation of war began to take shape during the past year and transmitted its effects to the markets, analysts began to look to the past to try to estimate what could come. Markets hate uncertainty. They hate it because it makes it more difficult precisely what the markets are trying to do, that is, trying to project what is to come and thus make the most appropriate decisions. With the evolution of the Iraq War, the projections that existed for the trajectory of the oil price after the war have not been fully met and although this price level does not constitute a threat to world recovery, it has not produced the additional boost that would have brought with it a drop in price. | en-US |
| dc.description | Cuando la expectativa de guerra comenzó a tomar forma durante el año pasado y transmitió sus efectos a los mercados, los analistas comenzaron a mirar al pasado para tratar de estimar lo que podría venir. Los mercados odian la incertidumbre. La detestan porque hace más difícil lo que justamente los mercados se empeñan a hacer, esto es, tratar de proyectar lo que está por venir y así tomar las decisiones más adecuadas. Con el devenir que ha tenido la Guerra de Irak, las proyecciones que existían para la trayectoria del precio del petróleo después de la guerra no se han cumplido plenamente y aunque este nivel de precio no constituye una amenaza para la recuperación mundial, tampoco ha producido el impulso adicional que hubiese traído consigo una baja del precio. | es-ES |
