| dc.description | The purpose of this paper is to identify, describe and analyze the implications of the main alternatives for a strategic line of socialist development that have been attempted in China during the first 31 years of the People's Republic, 1949-1980. In our view, there have been three of these lines, each constituting a different approach to socialist development, conceived in terms of its own basic logics and theories, implemented in China during a given historical period, which we have called Strategy A ( the strategic project of the First Five-Year Plan, 1953-1957), Strategy B (The Great Leap Forward, 1958-1960) and Strategy C (currently under study and already partially in implementation under the action of the Four Modernizations, from 1978 onwards). | en-US |
| dc.description | El propósito de este trabajo es identificar, describir y analizar las implicaciones de las principales alternativas para una línea estratégica de desarrollo socialista que se han intentado en China durante los primeros 31 años de la Republica Popular, 1949-1980. A nuestro modo de ver, ha habido tres de estas líneas, cada una constituyendo una aproximación diferente al desarrollo socialista, concebida en los términos de sus propias lógicas y teorías básicas, implementadas en China durante un periodo histórico determinado, que hemos denominado Estrategia A (el proyecto estratégico del Primer Plan Quinquenal, 1953-1957), Estrategia B (El Gran Salto adelante, 1958-1960) y Estrategia C (actualmente en estudio y ya parcialmente en implementación bajo la acción de las Cuatro Modernizaciones, de 1978 en adelante). | es-ES |
