| dc.description | The concept of a third way was used in the mid-1990s as a suitable slogan to promote the renewal of social democracy and the democratic left in Europe, and even the progressivism of the American Democratic Party. It would be a diagonal that would allow us to walk through politics looking to the right and left, taking a bit of the market from the first and preserving some social equity from the second. Indeed, it constitutes a symbol of the current cultural change, or change of time, in which things are ceasing to have identities given by immutable essences of Platonic origin and are constructed by meaning. The international system no longer responds to any previous theoretical description and is also searching for a name. These notes refer to the main elements that operate as a hinge between these two traditional planes in the contemporary world. | en-US |
| dc.description | El concepto de una tercera vía fue utilizado a mediados de los años 90 como un eslogan apto para promover la renovación de la social-democracia y la izquierda democrática en Europa, e incluso el progresismo del Partido Demócrata estadounidense. Sería una diagonal que permitiría caminar por la política mirando hacia la derecha y la izquierda, tomando un poco de mercado de la primera y conservando algo de equidad social de la segunda. En efecto, constituye un símbolo del actual cambio cultural, o cambio de época, en que las cosas están dejando de tener identidades dadas por unas esencias inmutables de origen platónico y son construidas por el significado. El sistema internacional ya no responde a ninguna descripción teórica previa y también está en busca de un nombre. Estas notas se refieren a los principales elementos que operan como bisagra entre estos dos planos tradicionales en el mundo contemporáneo. | es-ES |
