| dc.description | El nivel de autonomía en la actual estratificación internacional se define claramente solo en el ámbito del imperio americano. Este consiste esencialmente en una compleja red de intereses interrelacionados dentro de un encuadramiento profundamente asimétrico, que privilegia el centro en relación con la periferia. El presente estudio se restringe al análisis del problema de la autonomía periférica en el ámbito del imperio americano, con eventuales referencias marginales a las condiciones intraimperiales del sistema soviético. Sostenemos que el sistema intraimperial permite un apreciable margen de autonomía a los países que satisfacen determinados requisitos y se relacionan económico-culturalmente en términos compatibles con los intereses y valores básicos del centro imperial. | es-ES |
| dc.description | The level of autonomy in the current international stratification is clearly defined only in the realm of the American empire. This consists essentially of a complex network of interrelated interests within a deeply asymmetric framework, which privileges the center in relation to the periphery. The present study is restricted to the analysis of the problem of peripheral autonomy in the sphere of the American empire, with possible marginal references to the intra-imperial conditions of the Soviet system. We maintain that the intra-imperial system allows an appreciable margin of autonomy to countries that satisfy certain requirements and are economically-culturally related in terms compatible with the interests and basic values of the imperial center. | en-US |
