This article presents perspectives on the artistic trajectory of Juan Allende-Blin, composer and researcher that was born in Chile (*1928) and resides in Germany since the 1950s. Beside of exploring some aspects of his poetics and contextualizing them within the general context of musical avant-garde in the second half of the 20th century, the article comments his own research projects about the musicians and artists that were forced into the exile during Nazism, manifested in publications, radio programs, and concert curatorship. The artistic exchange between Allende-Blin and his life partner for more than six decades, the organist and composer Gerd Zacher, is studied with a closer analysis of Allende-Blin’s Mein blaues Klavier (1969/70) for organ, with accompaniment of street organ and mouth harp. Finally, his “sound collages” are explored as places of individual and collective memory.Este artículo presenta perspectivas de la trayectoria de Juan Allende-Blin, compositor e investigador nacido en Chile en 1928 y radicado en Alemania desde la década de 1950. Junto con comentar aspectos de su poética y situarla en el contexto de la vanguardia musical de la segunda mitad del siglo XX, se ahonda en su interés en la modernidad artística de las primeras décadas del siglo XX, manifestada en la investigación de músicos y artistas exiliados a causa del nazismo y difundida en publicaciones, programas radiales y curatorías de conciertos. Se comenta también el intercambio artístico con su compañero de vida por más de seis décadas, el organista y compositor Gerd Zacher y se ahonda en la obra para órgano, con acompañamiento de organillo y trompe, Mein blaues Klavier (1969/70). Por último, se abordan aspectos de sus “collages sonoros”, entendidos como lugares de memoria individual y colectiva.
