| dc.description | Tomando como punto de partida los catastróficos sucesos ocurridos en la localidad de Volcán (Quebrada de Humahuaca, Jujuy) en 2017, en este trabajo me propongo repensar, desde la etnografía, el panorama socio-cosmológico actual y las relaciones interétnicas que se han venido forjando en la región azucarera de Jujuy (noroeste argentino) donde se asientan numerosas comunidades guaraníes y mixtas colla-guaraníes en procesos sumamente dinámicos de transformación y redefinición de sus identidades. Los indígenas guaraníes de esta región poseen una perspectiva comparativa referida a los grupos collas que encarna una cosmopolítica del territorio, en la cual la clásica oposición amerindia entre lo alto y lo bajo es activada para pensar la alteridad. Como buscaré demostrar, esta distinción no solo refiere a grupos étnicos sino también a la agencia e intervención de entidades no-humanas, que, como la Pachamama y los dueños del monte, hacen al panorama socio-étnico y cosmológico. | es-ES |
| dc.description | In this paper, taking as a starting point the catastrophic incidents that took place in Volcan (Quebrada de Humahuaca, Jujuy) in 2017, I rethink, based on my ethnographic work, the socio-cosmological scene and the interethnic relations that are forged in the multiethnic sugar region of Jujuy (Argentinean northwest) where numerous Guarani and Colla-Guarani communities are in a constant process of transforming and redefining their identities. Native Guarani of this region have configured a comparative perspective in reference to Colla groups, embracing a cosmopolitics of the territory in which the classical Amerindian opposition high/low is useful to think about alterity. I aim to demonstrate that this distinction not only refers to ethnic groups but to the agency and intervention of non-human entities, such as the Pachamama and the forest owners, that constitute the socio-ethnic and cosmological landscape. | en-US |
