| dc.description | The following article seeks to analyze two moments of joint work between the Foreign Service and the Feminine Section of the Traditionalist Spanish Falange and the JONS. The first experience is the establishment of the Feminine Sections Abroad during the Spanish Civil War and the immediate postwar; the latter is the attempt to establish a scholarship and visit system funded by FET and the JONS. The main goal was to attract and prepare young people, politicians and intellectuals to the ideological guidelines of the Movement during the first years of the post-World War II. The analysis allows us to present the main characteristics of the international projection of the feminine arm of FET and of the JONS, as well as the several attempts to attract attention and generate support for national syndicalism. We observe how the Feminine Section drew its own path to international projection, maintaining independency vis-à-vis the strategies of cultural diplomacy while using the support of both the Movement and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs..Keywords: Feminine Section of FET and the JONS, Falangism, Francoism, gender, cultural diplomacy. | en-US |
| dc.description | El siguiente artículo tiene como objetivo principal analizar dos momentos de trabajo conjunto entre el Servicio Exterior articulado por la Falange Española Tradicionalista y de las JONS y su Sección Femenina, a saber, el establecimiento de las Secciones Femeninas en el Exterior durante el período de Guerra Civil y la inmediata postguerra y el intento de establecer un sistema de becas y visitas auspiciadas por FET y de las JONS para la atracción y preparación de jóvenes, políticos e intelectuales afines a los lineamientos ideológicos del Movimiento durante los primeros años de la post Segunda Guerra Mundial. El análisis referido nos permite visualizar los intentos de proyección internacional de FET y de las JONS a través de su brazo femenino, así como los diversos esfuerzos puestos en generar atracción ideológica hacia el falangismo. En esta tentativa, veremos cómo la Sección Femenina de FET y de las JONS trazó su propio camino de proyección internacional al alero tanto del Movimiento como de las estrategias de la diplomacia cultural propuestas por el Ministerio de Asuntos Exteriores.Palabras clave: Sección Femenina de FET y de las JONS,falangismo, franquismo, género, diplomacia cultural. | es-ES |
