| dc.description | This research analyzed standardized weights of multiple intelligences (MI),curriculum of the home (CoH), interests (Is), self-esteems (SE) and previous learning (PL) on current learning (CL). These static and dynamic relations are very informative for teachers´ educational initial formation since they exhibit our students´ development. Population considered 9th graders coming from scientific-humanistic, urban and coeducational public, subsidized, private schools, Quilpué, Valparaíso, Chile, 2004. This article corresponds to the 1rst. year (out of 4) of our National FONDECYT Project No. 1040251, Universidad de Playa Ancha de Ciencias de la Educación (UPLACED), 2003. A stratisfied ramdon sample implied 471 students who took Shearer´s MI scales, Pizarro´s questionnaire for CoH, Holland´s inventory for Is, Coopersmith´s inventory for SE, and objective tests and grade marks for PL and CL. Eleven computed significant multiple correlation coefficients sustained our alternative hyphotesis. They ranged from R=.4868 (F=28,583; SIG.=.000) to R=.1342 (F=5.754; SIG.=.017). Six out of 11analyses considered MI, 4/11 considered 8th grade Castilian Language, 3/11 forCurriculum of the Home, and 2/11 selected 8th grade Sciences and History. Thus, IM, CoH, Is, SE and PL factors maximally explained 24 % of CL variances. We expect these weights change as students progress to their 12th grade. | en-US |
| dc.description | Esta investigación analizó y evaluó los “pesos” de las inteligencias múltiples (IMs),curriculum del hogar (CdH), intereses (Is), autoestimas (AUTOs) y logros académicosprevios (Lap) en los logros académicos actuales LAa). Las relaciones son importantese informativas para un fundado desempeño docente, tanto más cuanto queaquellas son transversales y longitudinales, coincidiendo con el desarrollo de nuestrosjóvenes. La población consideró alumnos de 1º. medio científico humanista, colegiosy liceos públicos, subvencionados y particulares, Quilpué, Valparaíso, Chile, 2004.Este artículo corresponde al primer año (de 4) de investigación del ProyectoFONDECYT 1040251, Universidad de Playa Ancha de Ciencias de la Educación(UPLACED), 2003. La muestra al azar fue de 471 alumnos a quienes se les aplicaron tests objetivos, cuestionarios y escalas de Shearer para IMs, Pizarro para CdH, Holland para Is, Coopersmith para AUTOs, y de LA. Se obtuvieron 11 coeficientes de correlación múltiple (Rs) significativos que apoyaron la hipótesis postulada: mayor R = 0,4868 (F = 28,583; SIG. = 0,000) y menor R = 0,1342 (F = 5,754; SIG. = 0,017). En 6 de 11 análisis apareció la IM Lógicomatemática, en 4 Castellano de 8º Básico en 3 curriculum del hogar, y en 2 Ciencias e Historia de 8º. Básico. Se concluye que los factores IMs, CdH, Is, AUTOs, Lap explicaron máximamente un 24 % de la dispersión de los LAa. Se espera que tal monto y la contribución analítica de los factores cambien con el desarrollo hasta 4º. Medio de tales alumnos: influencia en los aprendizajes, intereses, autoconceptos y autoestimas, motivaciones y futuros vocacionales y profesionales. | es-ES |
