| dc.description | This article discusses different reflections, tensions and transformations generated from the visibility of gender identities, gender expressions and non-binary bodies within educational communities, which historically have had binary and cisnormative gender structures. In this scenario of dispute, the social relations between members of the educational community such as teachers, students and guardians are analyzed. The clash between dominant sex-gender structures with gender experiences and non-binary bodies triggered situations of transphobic violence in some educational communities. In other cases, it motivated internal questioning processes, delving into their own cisnormative discourses and practices, result of the hegemonic sex-gender system. The methodological strategy used was qualitative. To produce the information, unstructured interviews were carried out with trans students and cis teachers, as well as a focus group with trans student guardians. | dc.description | Este artículo aborda distintas reflexiones, tensiones y transformaciones generadas a partir de la visibilización de identidades de género, expresiones de género y cuerpos no binarios y/o cisnormados, al interior de comunidades educativas, las que históricamente han tenido estructuras de sexo-género binarias y cisnormadas. En este escenario de disputa, se analizan las relaciones sociales entre actores de la comunidad educativa: docentes, estudiantes y apoderades , . El choque entre estructuras dominantes de sexo-género con experiencias de género y cuerpos no binarios en algunas comunidades educativas gatillaron situaciones de violencias transfóbicas, y en otros casos motivaron procesos de cuestionamientos internos, ahondando en los propios discursos y prácticas cisnormativas producto del sistema de sexo-género hegemónico. La estrategia metodológica utilizada fue cualitativa, para producir la información se realizaron entrevistas no estructuradas a estudiantes trans y docentes cis, y grupo focal a apoderades de estudiantes trans.
