The two title salts, (CH2-CH3)2NH2+ C5NH3NO2SO3- and C4H8ONH2+ C5NH3NO2SO3-, crystallize in space group P2(1)/n and P2(1)/a respectively, with one ion pair in the asymmetric unit. In both structures, conventional hydrogen bonds link anions and cations in chains running along directions [1 0 1] and [0 1 0] for the first and second salts respectively
