| dc.description | Se analizó la presencia de Rotavirus, Coronavirus y Cryptosporidium spp. mediante la prueba inmunoenzimática (ELISA) en 172 muestras de contenido intestinal de ovinos de 4 predios de la X Región de Chile, correspondientes a 132 corderos enfermos de hasta 30 días de edad, 25 corderos clínicamente sanos de la misma edad y 15 ovejas adultas sanas.Del total de muestras obtenidas de animales clínicamente enfermos se detectaron 12 (9,1 %), positivas sólo a Rotavirus y 5 (3,8%) frente a Cryptos-poridium spp., no observándose ningún caso positivo a Coronavirus. En cuanto a asociaciones de agentes se determinó en 3 (2,3%) casos la coparticipación de Rotavirus y Cryptosporidium spp. Se discuten estos resultados y el uso simultáneo de la prueba de ELISA para varios agentes involucrados en diarrea neonatal del ovino.Palabras claves: diarrea neonatal ovina, diagnóstico, Elisa.AbstractThe presence of Rotavirus, Coronavirus and Cryptosporidium spp was tested by the immunoenzimatic (ELISA) test in 172 samples of ovine intestinal content. Four farms at the Xth. Región of Chile were selected and samples were obtained from: 132 ill lambs up to 30 days of age, 25 clinically healthy lambs from the same age and from 15 adults healthy ewes.From the clinically ill animals, 12 (9,1 %) samples were positive to Rotavirus only and 5 (3,8%) to Cryptosporidium spp. No case was found positive to Coronavirus. The co-participation of Rotavirus and Cryptosporidium spp. was found in 3 (2,3%) cases.
