AbstractThe purpose of this work is to study the effect of exogen administration of secretin and cholecystokinin -pancreozymin (CCK-PZ) on the flow and composition of bile in the anaesthetized lactating goat with a biliary cannula. Twenty lactating goats, ranging between 4-5 kg body weight were used. They were distributed in 2 groups of 10 animals; one group was treated with different doses of secretin, and the other with different doses of CCK-PZ.Rapid intravenous injection of porcine secretin, shows a clear stimulatory action on the biliary flow, and increasing the taurocholate and chlorine production in bile, at a dose of 0.16 Ulkg body weight. Porcine CCK-PZ applied in the same way that secretin, increased the hile flow and the production of the analyzed components at the same dose that secretin (0.16 Ulkg) but the response shows a short lag period and a pulsatile fow resembling a gallbladder contraction. These results may reflect reflect the existence of receptors to secretin and CCK-PZ, showing a great sensibility of the lactating goat to these hormones. | es-ES |
