Abstract
The synthesis of derivatives of dihydroeuparin, a secondary metabolite of the shrub Senecio graveolens, is described. The main modifications were the introduction of a hydrocarbon branch and the transformation of a ketone group into its oxime. Structure identification was carried out by IR, ¹H-NMR and 13C-NMR spectroscopy. These compounds may have application in the process of copper extraction
