dc.descriptionA mixture of oleic, linoleic and a-linolenic esters (1b-d, 2b-d) of ergosterol (1a) and episterol (2a) was isolated from the fruiting bodies of Mycena chlorinella. Ergosterol and its endoperoxide (3) were also found as free sterols. In addition, relatively large amounts of the nucleoside adenosine (4) were isolated
