| dc.description | This paper seeks to investigate the behavior presented by the deputies’ chamber, with regards to the bills which were sent by the executive power during the legislative term 2002 – 2006. The author tries to demonstrate that one of the most relevant reasons in order that the Government of Ricardo Lagos could fulfill wit success its bills, was the high unity of the governmental party and the heterogeneous action of the opposing bloc. In this way, with the analysis of the votings in room (Roll Call), this article locates each one of the parties and coalitions in a percentage space of approval to the initiatives of the Government, situating to “Renovacion Nacional” as a pivotal party which fluctuated between the government law support and its quality of opposing party. | en-US |
| dc.description | El presente artículo busca indagar sobre la conducta que presentó la Cámara de Diputados, respecto a los proyectos de ley que fueron enviados por el Ejecutivo en el periodo legislativo 2002-2006. Para ello, el autor intenta demostrar que una de las causas relevantes para que el gobierno de Ricardo Lagos cumpliera con éxito sus propuestas e iniciativas de ley, fue la alta unidad de los partidos oficialistas y el actuar heterogéneo del bloque opositor. Así, con el análisis de las votaciones en sala (Roll Call), este artículo ubica a cada uno de los partidos y coaliciones en un espacio porcentual de aprobación a las iniciativas del gobierno, posicionando a “Renovación Nacional” como un partido “pivote” que fluctuó entre los apoyos a las leyes del gobierno y su calidad de partido opositor.
