In this paper we analyze the attitudes that 400 subjects from Santiago de Chile show towards the dialects of Spanish spoken by the three main groups of immigrants in this city: Peruvians, Argentinians,and Colombians. We observe their attitudes on the basis of concepts such as correctness, liking, and similarity, and also on the basis of associations with a number of non-linguistic concepts. We conclude that valuation of these varieties depend both on linguistic and nonlinguistic factors (correspondence of these varieties with the linguistic profile of an ideal model of correct Spanish and social valuation of their speakers, respectively). Moreover, we point out that the attitudes observed, which belong to the host society, may affect the social integration of these groups of immigrants, and in different ways in each case.En el presente artículo analizamos las actitudes que 400 hispanohablantes de Santiago (Chile) muestran hacia las variedades dialectales propias de los tres grupos de inmigrantes de habla hispana que hoy tienen mayor peso demográfico en el entorno lingüístico santiaguino: peruanos, argentinos y colombianos. Examinamos sus actitudes sobre la base de las nociones de corrección, agrado y similitud, así como a través de asociaciones con características extralingüísticas. Concluimos que en la valoración de estas variedades del español confluyen factores lingüísticos (correspondencia relativa de cada variedad con el perfil lingüístico de un modelo ideal de español correcto) y extralingüísticos (valoración social de los usuarios de estas variedades). Asimismo, señalamos que dichas actitudes lingüísticas, pertenecientes a la sociedad receptora, pueden afectar de manera diferenciada para cada grupo de inmigrantes su integración social en Santiago.
