The aim of the following article is to reconstruct how in evolutionary terms the science of society elaborates concepts and theories. The construction of knowledge, concepts and theories from the system of science is developed as communication mode in its structure. For this reason, its understanding must be from two elements, on the one hand, at an epistemological level, according to the distinction between the environment system, on the other hand, at a social theoretical level, in relation to the theory of evolution. From that epistemic-theoretical conjugation, the second-order observation made by science is reflected from concepts that produce differentiations and make possible the construction of theories.El objetivo del siguiente artículo es reconstruir cómo en términos evolutivos la ciencia de la sociedad elabora conceptos y teorías. La construcción de conocimientos, conceptos y teorías desde el sistema de la ciencia es desarrollada a modo de comunicación en su estructura. Por este motivo su comprensión debe ser desde dos elementos, por una parte, en un nivel epistemológico, en función de la distinción sistema entorno, por otro lado, en un nivel teórico social, en relación con la teoría de la evolución. Desde esa conjugación epistémica-teórica, la observación de segundo orden realizada por la ciencia es reflexionada desde conceptos que producen diferenciaciones y posibilitan la construcción de teorías.
