| dc.description | En este artículo evalúo críticamente tres lecturas sobre la figura del deseo y su experiencia en el capítulo IV de la Fenomenología del Espíritu. En esta evaluación, considero que la explicación de Pippin es desacertada, pues yerra tanto en identificar el tópico del pasaje (probar la autonomía de la autoconciencia) como en identificar la causa de la experiencia (la recursividad al infinito del deseo), como en no asignar ningún rol en la experiencia a que el objeto del deseo inmediato sea vida y algo vivo. Esta última falencia es compartida por la explicación de Neuhouser, la cual, además, apela a exigencias que no son propias del capítulo IV, sino del capítulo V de la Fenomenología del Espíritu. Así, la interpretación que considero favorezco es la que provee Honneth, aunque no sin requerir complementación de mi parte. In this article I critically evaluate three readings of the desire figure of consciousness and its experience in the chapter IV of the Phenomenology of Spirit. In this evaluation, I consider that Pippin’s explanation is wrong, for it fails not only in identify the topic of the passage (to prove the self-sufficiency of self-consciousness), but it also fails in identify the cause of the experience (the endless recursivity of desire); moreover, it fails in assign no role in experience that the object of immediate desire is life and something living. This last error is share by Neuhouser’s explanation, which also appeals to exigencies that are not proper of chapter IV, but chapter V of the Phenomenology of Spirit. Thus, the reading I favour is the Honneth’s one, but not without any complementation by me. | es-ES |
