Este trabajo presenta, en primer lugar, las características, competencias y atribuciones del Panel de Expertos del sector eléctrico, como un órgano especializado de resolución de conflictos, para luego reafirmar su naturaleza de tribunal de la República con las conse- cuencias que ello apareja tanto para el mismo órgano en cuestión, como para las partes en conflicto. Además, se pronuncia sobre la irrecurribilidad de sus dictámenes y si este hecho es compatible con nuestro ordenamiento actual o no, tratando, finalmente, de articular herramientas o medios idóneos para la impugnabilidad de estas decisiones.This paper presents, in first place, the characteristics, powers and  functions of the electric sector’s Experts Panel as as an specialized dispute resolutions organ, to then,  confirm its Republic court nature and  with the consequences that would take this for both the same organ and litigants. Furthermore, it pronounces about the feature  of  unchallengeable of its decisions and whether this is compatible with the principles  that are underlying in our  current  system or not.
