dc.description	The article initially describes the missionary types implemented in Patagonia by the Protestant Church in the late 19th century; therefore it analyzes the verbal-visual construction of the story. Štambuk draws on elements from other discourses and disciplines to enrich the original testimony. This way, the story goes deeper into the consequences of the evangelization plan for the Yaghan people, who are “instructed” in minor labors against their cultural and identity traces, this indicate the beginning of what the relater calls champurreo. Rosa Yagán tells how, since that moment, the Yaghan people disappeared due to contact with the European culture, which additionally meant, particularly for the indigenous woman, almost the entire extinction of her universe of beliefs.	en-US
dc.description	El artículo se centra inicialmente en la descripción de las tipologías misionales que implementó la Iglesia Protestante en la Patagonia a fines del siglo XIX, para, a partir de allí, analizar la construcción verbo-visual del relato. Štambuk emplea recursos provenientes de otros discursos y disciplinas para complementar el testimonio inicial de la indígena. De esta manera, ahonda en las consecuencias que el plan evangelizador acarrea para la etnia yagán, “instruida” en labores menores en desmedro de sus rasgos culturales e identitarios, dando inicio a lo que la testimoniante califica como champurreo. Rosa Yagán narra cómo desde entonces, su etnia desapareció debido al contacto con el europeo, lo que adicionalmente significó, en particular para la indígena, la casi total extinción de su universo de creencias.	es-ES
