| dc.description | Resumen: En los últimos dos siglos, el mundo y la cultura occidentales han sufrido tales cambios, que la catequesis ha sido profundamente transformada. Pero las rápidas evoluciones implican inevitablemente ciertas crisis. Una de estas crisis ha sacudido a la Iglesia de Francia, la del Catecismo progresivo de 1957. Por orden del Santo Ofi cio, todos los responsables franceses de la catequesis fueron exonerados. Volver sobre el pasado es también hablar al presente. A partir de este acontecimiento estudiado en una tesis de teología, el presente artículo va a desarrollar una refl exión epistemológica acerca de la relación entre teología, historia y pedagogía en un contexto secular (Francia) donde la teología ya no es una ciencia que reina.

Abstract: Over the last centuries, the western world and its culture have undergone changes to the extent that catechism has been profoundly transformed. However, rapid changes inevitably imply certain crises. One of such crises has shaken the Church of France, the Progressive Catechism of 1957. By order of the Holy See, all the French responsible for the catechism were exonerated. Returning to the past is at the same time speaking of the present. From the standpoint of this event, studied in a theology thesis, the present article develops an epistemological refl ection on the relation between theology, history and pedagogy in a secular context (France), where theology is no longer the ruling science.
