Resumen: Este estudio se propone mostrar la profunda unidad detrás de la polisemia del término principio en el Comentario a Juan de Orígenes, especialmente en sus primeros dos libros, donde el Alejandrino describe rigurosamente cada uno de estos sentidos. El cuarto sentido, el de Sabiduría, da pie a un análisis que lo coloca en relación con la doctrina de la preexistencia, buscando mostrar cómo las condenas a esta polémica doctrina se hicieron desde un paradigma teológico y filosófico que impiden comprender la relación existente entre tiempo y eternidad, entre principio y fin, entre esclavitud y liberación espiritual. Abstract: This study intends to show the underlying unity behind the polysemy of the word principle in the Commentary to John of Origen, especially in his first two books, where the Alexandrian rigorously describes each of these senses. The fourth sense, that of Wisdom, leads to an analysis that places him with respect to the doctrine of preexistence, seeking to show how the condemnations of this polemical doctrine were made from a theological and philosophical paradigm that prevents understanding of the relationship between time and eternity, between beginning and end, between slavery and spiritual liberation.
