| dc.description | In this paper we analyze the text "For the International Year of Youth: A Message" passed in the closing session of the "A Board about the Youth in the 1980s" held in Costinesti (Romania) from 31 May to June 5, 1982 and organized by Unesco. Within the framework of Discourse critical studies, we examine how to build the youth concept from the interconnection of two vectors: first, a representation of discourse that is built on positive images of young subjects and, on the other, from an ideological matrix that assign negative notes to them. The constructs identified are "Youth" as key to the future development, "Youth" with less enthusiasm and aggressive "Youth". These discourse configurations, that asume contradictory traits are interwoven with strong signs that derive from the principles of structural functionalism. | en-US |
| dc.description | En este artículo analizamos el texto "Para el Año Internacional de la Juventud: un Mensaje" aprobado en la sesión de clausura de la llamada "Mesa Redonda sobre Juventud en los años 1980" que se desarrolló en Costinesti (Rumania) entre los días 31 de mayo y 5 de junio de 1982 y fue organizada por la Unesco. En el marco de los Estudios Críticos del Discurso examinamos cómo se construye el núcleo juventud desde la interconexión de dos vectores: por un lado, una representación discursiva que se erige sobre imágenes positivas de los sujetos jóvenes y, por el otro, desde una matriz ideológica que les atribuye notas negativas. Las construcciones que identificamos son "La juventud" como clave del futuro desarrollo, "La juventud" con menos entusiasmo y "La juventud" agresiva. Estas configuraciones discursivas que asumen rasgos contradictorios se imbrican, a su vez, con fuertes marcas que abrevan en los postulados del estructural funcionalismo. | es-ES |
