| dc.description | Love is the central theme of the Argonautics. The innovation of the Alexandrian poet stems not only in having made of love passion the most important theme of his epic poem, but also in the new treatment he displays in this issue. In this article the central place that amorous passion occupies in the Hellenistic poem is contrasted with the marginal and implicit place to which it is confined in the Homeric epic tradition. To study this shifting, we will linger in the episode of Hera‘s and Athenas‘s visit to Aphrodite in Chant III; the ironic and humouristic allusions in the Argonautics which show the antagonism of the goddesses in the Iliad will also be dealt with. Our analysis has as its aim to demonstrate how these ways of appropiation of a previous literary tradition are the manifestation of the emergence of a new subjectivity and a new esthetic sensibility proper to the Hellenistic period. | en-US |
| dc.description | El amor es el tema central de Las Argonáuticas. La innovación del poeta alejandrino radica no sólo en haber hecho de la pasión amorosa el tema más importante de su poema épico, sino también en el tratamiento novedoso con que aborda esta temática. En este trabajo se confrontará la centralidad de la que goza la pasión amorosa en el poema helenístico con el lugar marginal e implícito a la que es confinada en la tradición épica homérica. Para ver este desplazamiento, nos detendremos en el episodio de la visita de Hera y Atenea a Afrodita en el Canto III y se analizarán las alusiones irónicas y humorísticas en Argonáuticas del antagonismo de las diosas en Ilíada. Nuestro análisis tiene como objetivo demostrar cómo los modos de apropiación de la tradición literaria precedente ponen de manifiesto la emergencia de una nueva subjetividad y una nueva sensibilidad estética propias del período helenístico. | es-ES |
