| dc.description | This article presents some ideas born towards the end of the Peloponnesian War, showing the disastrous consequences this conflict had for all Greece, particularly the annihilation of the spiritual and institutional development of Athens, as well as the end of the polis. This contextualization allows for a more unitary appraisal of Aristotle's historical thought and philosophical perspective, as well as the announcement of the conditions in which IVth century poetry will develop, especially the philosophical one. | en-US |

Esta contextualización permite una valoración más unitaria del pensamiento histórico de Aristóteles y de su perspectiva filosófica, así como el anuncio de las condiciones en las cuales se desarrollará la poesía de la IV centuria, en especial la poesía filosófica. | es-ES |
